1. Intramuros
Intramuros, "The Walled City," is the oldest district in Manila. This is what remains of the fortified city, which was the seat of power during Spanish Colonial times (1521-1898).
2. Banaue Rice Terrraces
Spectacular terraces were carved out from mountain ranges some 2000 years ago with primitive handtools.
3. Fort Santiago
This museum and public park was built as a stone fortress at the turn of the 17th century and marked the beginning of the walled city's riverside barricades.
4. Greenbelt Mall
The Greenbelt shopping mall complex consists of 5 buildings surrounding the Greenbelt park, a welcome green area in this busy city. It offers dozens of restaurants of all kinds.
Of course it is not the right choice for those of us looking for authenticity. But if you need to relax after an intense work (or shopping) day, it is a nice choice.
5. Rizal Park
It is considered one of the largest urban parks in the Philippines, covering an area of 58 hectares (140 acres)
